Pippa Bacca believed art could change the world. Pippa was a performing artist embarking on her most ambitious project to date when, in 2008, she and her friend Silvia Moro set out to hitchhike from their home country of Italy through the Balkans, around the Middle East, with Jerusalem as their destination. Their "Brides on Tour" performance was meant to travel through war-torn lands to present an image of togetherness, to show that marriage and unity between peoples was possible. When the two friends split in Turkey, Pippa goes missing, and her journey ends. Pippa believed with all her heart in the goodness of others, and in the power of trusting others. Though her fate ended so tragically, even ironically, her message of peace carried on. By the end of this tender, moving film, you, too, will be a little bit in love with Pippa Bacca.
