For 40 years, filmmaker Alan Berliner ripped out photographs that he liked from The New York Times and filed and indexed them meticulously. In LETTER TO THE EDITOR, a documentary film written, directed, and narrated by Berliner himself, he uses these clippings to show the importance of print media, how greatly technology has affected the lives of human beings, and what has changed in the world from the time he started his collection.
