What's cryonics? So glad you asked.
Cryonics is the low-temperature freezing and storage of human remains, with the speculative hope that resurrection may be possible in the future.
Does this sound like science fiction to you? Well, that's fair, but it may not be for long... Enter the Cryonics Institute, just outside Detroit, where cryogenically-frozen men, women, children, and even pets remain in hopes of science one day catching up with imagination. As the founder of the institute, Robert Ettinger, explains it in this wonderfully bizarre short film: "I'm not talking about living forever; I'm talking about waking up tomorrow."
